She is the director of "And Nothing Happened," which won our 2017 NoBudge Awards for Best Film, Best Director and Best Actress (tie). More recently, she directed "Piu Piu," beginning its film festival run now. She's also involved as a writer/director/actress on "Random Acts of Flyness" now airing on HBO. We discuss her upbringing in Flatbush Brooklyn, attending dance high school, and then on to Howard University, and into a discussion of her early film output.
